Meet Your Local Farmer – Shannon & Brad!

Shannon and Brad Hudson are the proud owners of Bethel Prairie Homestead. They are a retired military family that dreamed of having their own little homestead to raise food for their 8 children. As they started producing their own food, they discovered that friends and neighbors were desiring their fresh products as well, especially the eggs! Shannon and Brad have grown their farm to include multiple laying chickens, that are all pasture raised. Their chickens are “housed” in chickshaws, surrounded by electric poultry netting, and are moved to fresh pasture weekly. The also raise dairy goats, ducks, and pasture raised broilers.
